In 2017 Chris was appointed as the global Vice President for strategy and partnerships for IBM’s Consumer Industry organization leveraging his deep industry knowledge in retail and CPG. 

 

In 2013 Chris was asked to lead IBM’s commercial portfolio and business of Marketing technology solutions.  In this capacity Chris had P/L responsibility for the Marketing Solutions division.  He led a team of professionals who innovate and deliver an industry-leading portfolio marketing and analytics software solutions to helps IBM’s clients deliver personalized meaningful engagements with their customers.  This port

 

In 2011, Chis became Vice President of Marketing Systems and part of IBM’s Corporate Marketing & Communications Leadership Team. Chris formed this corporate group to lead IBM in its transformation to digital marketing   In this capacity he acted as the Chief Technology Officer for IBM Marketing where he was responsible for developing and implementing new marketing technologies and processes for all IBM’s divisions. 

 

In 2009, Chris was appointed Vice President of Marketing Transformation where he led major global and cross enterprise transformation projects for M&C.  These included, developing new standards and methods for market management, designing a new operating model for marketing using global and regional Marketing Centers and the global deployment marketing automation to over 2,000 marketing professionals.

 

In 2006, Chris was promoted to Vice President and selected to lead marketing and strategy for IBM’s ISV and Developer Relations (IDR) organization.  Under Chris’ leadership IDR developed innovative global programs, which enabled IBM to co-market more effectively with independent software vendors and systems integrators. He was a member of the IBM Software Group Marketing Board.
